Sundays in Bed With…#7

Ā meme hosted by midnightbookgirl.com

This morning as well as still reading The Dating Game by Susan Buchanan, I have started reading a book I got yesterday at Skoob.

I have read so many books by the duo Nicci French and when I discovered this newly paperback by them in Skoob, I thought I must have it to add to my collection! Im only 30 pages in so far but already it is addictive.

Looks like its going to be another great read by the duo but lets wait and see šŸ™‚

Skoob!

So, me and Specs had the delight to visit Skoob yesterday.

Skoob is a secondhand bookshop in London with a wide selection of books especially vintage penguin classics!

We heard the good reviews about Skoob a while back and have been meaning to visit ever since. However with it been three trains away from us we hadn’t had the time up until now.

They have everything from new releases to vintage classics, from plays to children’s literature.

Most books are marked for sale at half the original retail price but there are a few exceptions.

Specs and I came away with just three books on our first visit yesterday, there was just so many books we wanted but we were good and limited ourselves (plus we have no room left on our bookshelves).

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bookshop is so quiet you could browse without disturbance.

If you would like to go there yourselves, here is the address:

66 Brunswick Sqaure,Ā London WC1N 1AEā€Ž

Ā  Ā  Ā 020 7278 8760 www.skoob.com

We managed to come away with a nice red Skoob cloth bag for Ā£2 and a free skoob bookmark too!
