Skoob!

So, me and Specs had the delight to visit Skoob yesterday.

Skoob is a secondhand bookshop in London with a wide selection of books especially vintage penguin classics!

We heard the good reviews about Skoob a while back and have been meaning to visit ever since. However with it been three trains away from us we hadn’t had the time up until now.

They have everything from new releases to vintage classics, from plays to children’s literature.

Most books are marked for sale at half the original retail price but there are a few exceptions.

Specs and I came away with just three books on our first visit yesterday, there was just so many books we wanted but we were good and limited ourselves (plus we have no room left on our bookshelves).

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bookshop is so quiet you could browse without disturbance.

If you would like to go there yourselves, here is the address:

66 Brunswick Sqaure, London WC1N 1AE‎

     020 7278 8760 www.skoob.com

We managed to come away with a nice red Skoob cloth bag for £2 and a free skoob bookmark too!
